Abstract:
One of the main issues in the realization of quantum information devices is due to decoherence. The effects of the environment over a system of qubits can be represented exploiting the Random Matrix Theory. This theory was introduced in the 50s by Wigner, but lately its relation to Quantum Chaotic systems has been proposed. The central aim of this work is to compute fidelity and purity decay and analyze their relation with the generic properties of the environment.
