Nature Physics is celebrating its 15th birthday in its October issue and our lithium experiment contributed to the cover.
The image shows the number 15 realized by four different systems: Quantum imaging with non-classical light (Hugo Defienne and Daniele Faccio, University of Glasgow, top left), Self-assembly of green-fluorescent-protein-active Escherichia coli bacteria (Serim Ilday, Bilkent University, top right), Self-assembly of polystyrene beads (Serim Ilday, Bilkent University, bottom left) and fluorescing lithium atoms seen by our quantum gas microscope (bottom right).
