Abstract:
Time-dependent (parametric) modulations in quantum engineered system allow access to novel out-of-equilibrium effects. I will present a variety of driven-dissipative phenomena that provide a deep connection between nonlinear dynamics bifurcation theory, time-crystals, and dynamical gauge fields. It also provides a path for generating controllable Ising machines using parametrons.
