Problem Sets

The problem sets will be handed out (and posted on the Website) on Wednesdays and should be handed back after the Monday lecture. They form the basis of the tutorials and the journal club. 

An active participation in the tutorials and the Journal club is required to take the final examination! 

In order to be admitted to the final exam, we in particular require that you "do" 75% of the problems. A problem is accepted as "done" if the solution presented is serious and reasonable, even if the correct result is not obtained. You can hand in solutions in pairs, but both partners need to be able to explain their work on the blackboard.
